I use a power wheelchair as I have Muscular Dystrophy, Limb Girdle type. As a recessive genetic trait, my parents were carriers (but not affected), but as 1 of 7 children I had it since birth. It progresses slowly and at age 57, I can still get around - my Dodge minivan is modified with a ramp and lowered floor, a hand control and I transfer into a modified driver's seat. The house is set up too for my wheelchair. I have no problem talking about it as I am married (26 years) with two kids (23 and 21). Life is a challenge but it is what it is - life is great!
The view from above does show a person who looks up aware and confident. Looking up shows the thinker or dreamer who aims high. A very nice portrait!
AntwortenLöschenthank you so much for your comment! like the subtitle says "confidence is everything"... most of the time :)
LöschenDas ist auch ein schönes Selbstportät.
